Until a year ago we had two dogs and after our Miniature Pinscher Maggie passed away last year I started considering having another bird... she was far to aggressive toward what she perceived as "vermin" for us to consider this.

Bijoux is our very bird friendly Shih Tzu who is 8 years old... seems like just yesterday that I brought her home and she was so tiny she fit in my hat.

Now we have three birds.
